ECE R65 certificated strobe light is widely used in Europe on a variety of vehicles like ambulances, fire trucks, and Police cars. 

There are two levels of ECE R65 standard: class 1 and Class 2. Class 2 means that the light must pass the test in the daytime and at night. It's stricter than Class 1. The light which can meet ECE R65 must have a wide beam pattern that allows it to be seen from a great distance. The light is also designed to be waterproof and resistant to dust and other bad environment. The strobe light is also designed to be easy to install and maintenance-free.
